Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

We're welcoming the holiday season as a community on December 5, 2024! Come by the Chehalem Cultural Center around 6 p.m. and say hi to your neighbors while sipping on some hot cocoa, listening to the carolers, and embracing that warm feeling that comes with the holidays.

As always, free to attend! If everything goes to plan, the tree will light up at 6:30 p.m.

Don't forget to head downtown after the tree lighting, where local businesses will be debuting their holiday-themed window decorations!

A huge thank you to Chehalem Park and Recreation District for securing and decorating the tree, as well as City of Newberg Public Works, Newberg Noon Rotary, and the Chehalem Valley Chamber for supporting this incredible community event.
