Harvest Fest
The Yamhill County Historical Society has a weekend of fun planned for all ages! Harvest Fest is a two-day festival with demonstrations of mules working antique equipment to harvest fields; blacksmithing and sawmilling demonstrations; family friendly hands-on history activities such as crop harvesting, threshing, petting animals, pedal tractors, and more; exhibits; delicious food; live music; tours; and much more! This year’s event will also be the maiden voyage for our 1912 Geiser Peerless, a steam traction engine that has been undergoing a complete restoration since 2008. You won’t want to miss seeing our restoration team, a wonderful group of men and women of various ages, taking it out for a drive. They will also be on hand to answer any and all questions about the restoration process.
